UTOPÍAS, REVOLUCIÓN Y REACCIÓN EN LAS ESTÉTICAS Y EN LAS POÉTICAS ARTÍSTICAS DEL SIGLO XX (ARGENTINA 1910-1980)

Tipología de la investigación: estudio de las principales poéticas y estéticas contemporáneas y su relación con las corrientes epistemológicas y semióticas de las ciencias sociales. Historiografía artística contemporánea y de las principales tendencias artísticas hegemónicas y alternativas y sus interrelaciones con la política.

Sumario: La presente investigación se propone analizar exhaustivamente las principales tendencias artísticas (y de la relativa teoría social contemporánea respectiva) en sus distintas manifestaciones (literaria, ensayística, plástica, musical y cinematográfica) que de un modo u otro se refieren, tratan o tematizan cuestiones políticas y/o sociales concentrándose principalmente en una reconstrucción ideológico-estética, de sus recursos formales y temáticos y que contemple, desde diversos puntos de vista, la relación de su discurso con su respectivo contexto y cotexto. El objetivo final de la investigación será explicitar la continuidad y las contradicciones (situacionales, contextuales y cotextuales) de las distintas poéticas y estéticas (típica de una original producción de autor de “la causa”) en el desarrollo de sus respectivas obras, desde una visión integradora de las diversas vertientes artísticas.

Utopia, Revolution and Reaction in Twentieth Century Artistic Aesthetics and Poetics (Argentina 1910-1980)

Typology of the investigation: study of the main contemporary aesthetics and poetics and their relationship with the epistemological and semiotic tendencies of the social sciences. Artistic contemporary historiography and of the main artistic tendencies, hegemonic and alternative and their relationship with politics.

Summary: The present investigation has the purpose of analyzing thoroughly the main artistic tendencies (and the contemporary social theory related to them) in their different manifestations (literature, essay, fine arts, music, cinematography) which in one-way or another deal with politic and/or social issues. The investigation aims at an ideological-aesthetic reconstruction of their formal and thematic resources, contemplating from different points of view the relationship of their discourse with their respective context and cotext. The final purpose of the investigation is to make explicit the continuity and contradictions (situational, contextual, cotextual) of the different aesthetics and poetics (typical of the original production of an “author of the cause”) in the development of their respective works, from a point of view that integrates the several artistic manifestations.
